1 Month

One month old! Time flies when you are NOT pregnant doesn't it? This past month I have been exhausted, fell in love, let my home be a mess, left my house only a handful of times, loved being with my two kiddos, snuggled my snuggly baby, felt like a cow (I know all your nursing mothers know this), and many more ups and downs! Elle is as infuated with Jack as me and James are. She is almost always by his side (to the point of annoyance) and tries to take care of him like a little mommy would. Its cute that she adores him so much, but sometimes she just gets in the way, love her to pieces though. Now for Jack..

* He seems very content
* He snorts like a piggy when he is hungry
Wakes up every 3 hours at night
* Has stolen our hearts
* Can't really tell who he looks like or is going to look like
* Loves to cuddle
* Is becoming more aware but still sleeps quite a bit for a 4 week old
* Is already losing his hair on top but keeping the rest of it (great old man look!) and is it curly like Elle's?? Quite possibly is...James isn't sure if this is going to look good...haha.
* Has the sweetest pouty baby lips!
* Has long skinny feet and BIG hands!

We are excited to see this little boy grow up. He is such a wonderful addition to our family and we feel so blessed to have him here finally. Thanks to my sister for buying these cute iron on months for us to have fun with the next 12 months:)

Elle's dance Recital

Elle had her dance recital back in June (See I told you I was behind). It was really cute and she got to do two dances with a *Big Girl*. Her big girl was named Brady and Elle loved her. Brady got Elle a bag full of goodies and Elle was soooo excited:) She has enjoyed dance, but I think we have decided to let her do gymnastics for a year instead of dance because she has had some interest in this, we'll see. Its just so darn cute to see these little 3 yr olds up on stage! Love you Elle girl!

Jack's Blessing Day

We blessed Jack when he was a week and a half old because my mom was still in town and so was Michael and Amy. It was a special day and James gave a wonderful blessing to him. Here are a few pictures of that day and then a picture of all the Eaton cousins with their Papaw Litton. Note the three babies all born within 6 weeks of each other on the Eaton side. Forget about double trouble, these three boys are going to be triple trouble!

Big Pig Roast

James, his brother, and his dad love to raise a pig for a few months until it gets big and fat and then kill it to do a pig roast. They are crazy. They have to stay up all night to make sure the pig is turned and cooked right. This time they bought a massive pig. James says it weighed 500 lbs, so you can imagine how fun that pig was to flip over..ha. Here are a few pictures from the day of the BBQ....I prefer my pulled pork at a restaurant so I don't have to look at the dead pig laying there..but it was pretty good. Love ya babe. I can't believe I married a crazy country boy sometimes. That's what love does to you!

James White Coat Ceremony

I am so behind on blogging. James had his white coat ceremony about a month ago. It was fun to see him get it, even though they dont actually wear them..lol. It was good for him to feel like he had accomplished something and that the next two years will be more clinical (hands on) work. He is already saying how much more he is enjoying his days and he is excited to tell me all about his days. We love you James and how hard you are working for our family!
