Jacks Bday {Chik fila Style}

We had two different celebrations for Jack's 2nd birthday this year. One was with Riley his cousin whos birthday is 14 days earlier and then one was at Chikfila:) I am almost 9 months pregnant, you can't expect much from me this year. Plus he won't remember right? We just met up for dinner and ate chocolate cake and ice cream. I can't believe how fast this boy has grown. He is already in 3t and 4t clothing, its crazy! I miss my little man. I guess I am due for another baby to snuggle aren't I? Jack still lets me snuggle him and rock him before bed though. He loves when James or me will just rock and sing to him. He is learning to say and mimick words now, sometimes even putting two words together. He says "Hand" alot, which means he wants you to hold his hand while he leads us to whatever he is wanting. He loves "Saurs" {dinosaurs} and Tractors. He can say Wub ooo {love you} and gives the sweetest kisses ever. It has definitely been harder than I anticipated keeping up with this 2 yr old little boy for this pregnancy but I wouldn't change him for the world. He is so full of life and love and we are so grateful to have him in our family. He loves sports and being outside, being in the pool and doing whatever James is doing.  Elle and Jack have a special bond too. They are so sweet with each other most of the time and its been so fun seeing their relationship grow.

4th of July

We had a fun, lowkey 4th this year. The night before we went to a firework show in Bartlett, which was fun. Shelley and Brad accepted a job here in Memphis for the next little while so we are so excited to have them here and they joined us on the fourth for some good ribs and food. The kids just played and unfortunately its hard to get your hands on fireworks here in Memphis, its illegal to set them off in your neighborhood so we went without fireworks for the kids this year, totally lame I know.

So far this summer has been brutally hot. Its probably because I am 8 months pregnant and am like a big oven but MAN! Its been torture! I can't wait until the fall rolls around. We are just trying to keep cool inside. James started his residency and has a pretty heavy workload. He is trying to get a handle on everything and he will begin working in the clinic again in about a month. We are so excited and anxious for our little girl to come in September. I am ready to not be pregnant anymore and ready to be able to play with my other kids more easily.

Gulf Shores Alabama Trip

For James's Graduation trip we went to Gulf Shores. It is right on the Gulf of Mexico and is BEAUTIFUL! This is my second time coming with the kiddos. The first time I went, James was unable to come so it was really fun for him and my parents to be with us:) We mostly just hung out on the beach and played in the kiddie pool. One night we went to this place called the "hang out" to eat dinner and it was awesome! There was live music, a HUGE sandbox area for the kids to play in, a snow cone shack, A foam party for this kids. It really was the coolest place. I wish I had had my camera that night (but I didn't realize that I would need it until I got there).  James starts his residency in about a week so his summer vacation is now slowly coming to an end.  We've got some exciting news that my sister, Shelley, and her family will be moving to Memphis in Mid July for his new job and also My brother Justin and his family about the same time. Its going to be a fun next few years with so much family close by. We feel so blessed! Lots of pictures from our beach trip below.
