Yay:) BLOG REVAMPED!

Thank you Lara! How much better is this? I mean really, I could type on this blog all day long if I had to. Its so beautiful now. I took some pictures of Elle and Jack about a month back and they are up in my header but here they are here. Love those squirts. Jack is 9 months now and seriously looks like a 2 year old. He is humongous! Its getting hard to carry him around. My muscles are getting strong:) He is still sweet as can be. He has 7 teeth now {causing many sleepless night lately}. He has been getting up on his knees, but really has had no desire to do anything beyond that. I am not sure if he will ever crawl, which I am okay with;) Elle is enjoying her last few months of preschool before school gets out. She is extremely smart and picks up on things very quickly. She can read short words and is artistically amazing for a four year old {Okay I might be bragging a little bit, but she is really good}. I just had my 25th birthday. Wow. Half way to 30. I might be looking into buying some skin creams now that I am starting to age:( James is busy busy busy in clinic at the dental school. He loves what he is doing but hopes to be able to specialize in endodontics. We will see in September if that dream will be able to come true or not. If not, we will only have one more year of school left, yipee!! I've made some great friends here in Memphis but alot of them will be leaving a year from this April so it will kind of hard to say goodbye to them all. We have a few trips planned for this spring and summer so we are excited for that. We are actually going to Vegas with my family next week. I am not sure if my body is bathing suit worthy yet....Its been alot harder this time around to lose my baby weight:( Still have 5-10 lbs to go. Any ideas? Just a little update. I promise to be a better blogger. Don't stop checking in.

I know I have seriously been the worst blogger ever. Here are a few pics from the past months...yup I am that behind. Hopefully I will pick back up soon. I am hoping to talk my cousin into redoing my blog because mine is so lame..haha (LARA?!) Maybe that will inspire me to be a better blogger!

5 month pics

He is about 6 1/2 months now but these were from last month. He is so BIG! He seriously weighs like 23 lbs already. He is definitely our chunky monkey:) My arm is dying from carrying his carseat around everywhere. Hopefully he will learn to sit up soon so I can stop bringing that darn thing in to the stores;) He i still as sweet as can be. He just started baby foods a few weeks ago and loves sweet potatoes and squash. He isn't too sure about green beans or peaches though. He made a lot of unpleasant faces while eating those. He keeps catching colds though, poor kid. He has had like 3 colds within the past 2 months. I love the 6-12 month stage, where they start to get more independent and curious. I am going to try and catch up on a few more blog posts. I have been so lazy blogging lately.

Christmas

We had a wonderful christmas! Elle and Jack were both spoiled rotten:) There is a lot more excitment now that Elle is a little bit older and actually "gets" christmas.

I am so behind with these pictures! He was more like barely 4 months with these pictures and he is almost 5 months now so I better do his 4 month onsies soon. These months have seriously been flying by! I can't believe he is almost 5 months old now! He is such a good baby. We really are so lucky. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 6 weeks old. He is a good eater, his temperment is very laid back and he is such a sweet boy! He just broke his first two teeth on the bottom (which surprised me because thats pretty early!). We are getting excited for Christmas. Its only a week away now! We have lots of shopping to do around this time because James and Elle's birthdays are both within two weeks after christmas. James has been off school and its been nice to have him around. Elle started preschool in October and has been LOVING it! She loves her teacher and has already been learning alot. She knows all of her sounds and can sound out a few words now. This year has been kind of a hard year for her with self control, fits, and being a little sassy. We still love her to pieces but hoping this 4 year old year will be better for her:) We all have hard years right? More pictures to come.

LONG Halloween Post...Sorry so LATE

I know this post is SO overdue, but between picture sessions and two kids life has been Busy around here. We had a little Halloween party with some of our friends. It was a lot of fun. James was a carny as you can see and the most hilarious thing about his costume was that he actually learned how to make balloon animals for the kids. They loved it! He was the center of attention at all the parties. I was a vampire and James made me some nice vampire teeth at school. Elle was my sweet little strawberry shortcake and Jack was a dino but I will have to post his pictures later because they were on a different camera.
