January

Winter always drags on for me even though we have been experiencing a very mild winter here in Tennessee this year. We've been able to play outside on the nicer days without jackets! James is busily getting all of his requirements in before his graduation this May. He has been accepted into an Endodontist program here in Memphis and we will be staying two additional years for him to complete his program. I am happy for this chance we get to further his education, but I am getting a little impatient, because I feel like we are never going to be able to settle down somewhere! In the meantime I've been snapping pictures from this January, nothing too exciting happening here, but I want to be sure to document Elle's and Jacks ages right now. They've become fast friends and play so cute together now. We got a new dog about 5 months ago. His name is Maverick and he is James's "duck hunting dog" although he hasn't really been able to train him or hunt with him yet. I am not a huge dog person, but its been good for Archie (our Yorkie) to have a friend. They sleep together in the same bed at night, its sweet. They for the most part stay outside (which I am COMPLETELY fine with;)

Fall Fun

Wow, these were from October. I always love going home in the fall. Shelley was able to come out from Indiana to come see us while we were in Boise and we had lots of fun as a family. We went to Linder Farms, a cute little pumpkin patch, and just enjoyed everyones company. We then went to Blackfoot for a few days and stayed with Justin and Tessa. The last leg of our trip was in Utah, where we stayed with Mike and Amy's family. Elle always looks forward to spending some quality time with her cousin, Sydney. I thought that maybe two weeks was going to be too long to be without James, but it turned out being okay with our travels being broken up along the way. 

 We went to visit our friends Greg and Angel while we were in Boise. This is Elle's little buddy Macey.

Halloween

We had lots of fun this halloween. The kiddos dressed up for our Ward Trunk or Treat party and we went to the carnival beforehand. Elle seriously took WEEKS to figure out what she wanted to be for Halloween. I finally kind of decided for her because I found a perfect purple princess dress for her at Target and Jack's was pretty last minute (also found at Target) but suited him perfectly!! I only wish he would have kept his darn hat on the whole time, but what can you expect from a one year old? I love the weather in the Fall here. Its almost always around 70 degrees for Halloween. Its perfect! I love the Holidays, its my favorite time of year!

Elle's Preschool Graduation

Elle had her preschool graduation a few months ago and I forgot to post these. It wasn't her REAL preschool graduation because she will be going to preschool for another year but it was fun and she will be going to a different preschool this next fall. 

 Elle has a crush on Wesley, the kid to her left. She talks about him alot and asks me if we can have him come play..so cute.
