Vday Post

So this year for Valentines day James got me a Snoogle (a super comfy pregnancy pillow that I now can't live without) and a new point and shoot camera. I was spoiled and I am so happy with these gifts:) He got some fancy new running shoes and Elle got lots of little things plus a rose from her daddy. I think Elle is loving that there is some type of holiday to celebrate every few months or so. To celebrate, we just went to dinner with a bunch of friends and then came back to our house to play the newlywed game (even though none of us are newlyweds anymore) me and James managed to pull through and win by one point. I guess we do know each other pretty well after 4 long years! Love ya hun

Snow Day

A few days ago, there was an unexpected snow day! James got to stay home from school (which we all enjoy) and Elle and him made their very first snow man! I watched from the window since I am a baby in the cold and got real brave to take a few pictures by going onto the back porch for a few seconds. As most of you know, Memphis doesn't see much snow (For this I am glad!) but for Elle's sake it was fun to have a little bit a snow fun. She had to wear some of my gloves because we couldn't find any of hers and then they ended getting really wet because all she did while she was outside was eat snow! We improvised with stuff we had and they made the snowman's eyes out of buttons, a baby carrot for his nose, and some blueberries for his smile. He is now disassembled on our back lawn and most of the snow has melted. I am grateful she got a taste of the wintery season without it staying for too long:)

What Elle's been up to lately...

* She started a new ballet/tap class and looks forward to going every week

* She is growing up so quickly and is now using bigger words even though she doesn't know what they mean sometimes

* She is now FINALLY trying new foods and has added alot of new things she likes onto her "Will eat" list

*She attends playschool once a week and cannot wait to get away from boring old mom to go!

* She is full of loves, telling me and James how much she loves us and Charley atleast a few times a day

Baby #2!

Well...I guess we have been keeping our secret long enough. We are pregnant with baby #2 and Elle is going to be a sister:) She is so excited and she tells me that the baby is a girl and that her name is April. I am okay about the baby being a girl, but not the part where her name is April...lol. Anyway.. I am 15 weeks along so just 5 more weeks and we will find out for sure either way! We are really excited and I am just really tired most days. I got a little bit sicker this time around then what I was with Elle so at first I was convinced it was a boy, but now I am not so sure. This is why my blog posts have been few and far between (mostly because I am so lazy now). Hopefully things will go smoothly for the rest of our pregnancy cuz we are sure ready to have another little baby in our home!

Happy Bday To my 3 year old!

Elle turned three years old yesterday, officially missing the cutoff for sunbeams be ten whole days. She couldn't have been more sad. I teach sunbeams and she really wants to be in my class but its okay. Her nursery teacher is one of my friends and Elle loves her too so its okay. Plus she will get a another whole year of snacks and toys, which is a plus. Anyway, we had a friend party for Elle's bday and then a small family one. She is truly spoiled and loved and she loves everything about birthdays:) Especially all the attention. James had fun making some kind of mexican fiesta birthday cake, I was cracking up by the time he was finishing it. I think he might have enjoyed Elle's birthday even more the she did.

Christmas in Idaho

Well, I have been a super bad blogger. Some due to one of my cameras being broken and secondly because I have been so darn lazy. I thought I would catch up with this christmas post. We have been in Idaho for the last couple weeks spending time with family. Elle has gotten some much needed grandma time (she loves both her nana and grammy more than anything) and got to play with her cousins a little bit too. Grammy made cookies with Elle on multiple occasions and Elle got to try out her new little cooking set that aunt shelley gave to her.We let Elle open her presents from us before we left Tennessee and then tried to bring a few presents from Santa Claus for her to open in Idaho. Its hard to travel with presents so hopefully we won't have to do that too much. But we do love seeing our family. We had a family fondue party about a week ago and had james brother's fam and his sister come down to Blackfoot for a fun night. Here are a few pictures from this past little while. James also celebrated his 27th bday on Dec 26th and we had a fun little night with lots of yummy food:)
