Frienemies

This is what Elle and my friend's lil girl Aubrey are. Sometimes they like each other sometimes they hate each other, but overall they are pretty cute together. Me and Aubrey's mommy (Melanie) took these two year olds to a fun little place in Collierville Tn and bribed them with lots of Halloween candy and chips to pose for us. I think they turned out pretty darn cute. What do you think?

Spooktacular Week!

We had a very fun filled Halloween week these past few days. Elle got to go to TWO trunk or treats, dress up THREE times...and got WAY too much candy, which I ate A lot of. Elle was really excited about getting to dress up and even more excited when me and James were dressing up in our costumes. She was the cutest little clown I know. She loved getting the face paint on and even posed for me for a few pictures. She got a WHOLE bag of candy from here Nana Eaton and she won a HUGE pink cake at one of the trunk or treats she went to. Needless to say, she has been in sugar heaven. Yesterday for Halloween we had a little party and ate Spooky foods and drank delicious italian sodas. After all the trick or treating Elle organized her candy, without us even telling her to. I guess they learn young! Let the Holidays begin!

Elle my crafting girl

These are a few weeks old. We LOVE the martha stewart crafts for kids. We got like ten of them at BIG LOTS for two $ each. Elle is always asking if we can do a craft. The pictures below only show a few of the crafts she's done lately. Also, I havent' been updating as much on here because I broke my point and shoot camera somehow. I am sad:( I still have my nice camera but I only use that when I have it handy and mostly outside so yeah. I really want this new nice point and shoot but it costs $500 and well...you guessed it. We don't really have $500 laying around our house. Hopefully someday soon though right?! Elle has been so funny lately. At night when I put her to bed, she always thinks I am coming back after her initial "tuck in". She's like "mom I am going to count to ten and you better come in here". Its so funny because she sounds so bossy but in her cute little voice that is so innocent. She is involved in a Playschool type thing right now and she loves it. The only downside is that I usually forget and she misses it. The other day, I told her she was going to Playschool at Angie's house (A girl in our ward). She is Ben's mom (One of Elle's friends from nursery). Elle was like "Oh, what does her hair look like?" It made me giggle. This is how she apparently recognizes people, by what their hair looks like. Silly girl.

Elle is lucky to have a few girl cousins around her age. While we were in Idaho Elle got to play with Sydney. She idolizes this girl. They play so well and are pretty darn cute don't ya think?!

October

Well we want back to Idaho a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun to see family, but I didn't get a chance to take many pictures of all the stuff we did because I had a lot of family sessions while I was down there. They were lots of fun though and you can see them on my blog. I probably won't be doing any sessions when I come down to Idaho in December because it will be FREEZING, but I will probably do some sessions when I come down next spring/summer, so just let me know sometime before then if you want me to do some for ya. Just contact me for pricing at karajophotography@gmail.com ANyhoo, James has a pretty tough school/test schedule for the next couple of months and so I am so lucky to have such great girlfriends here in Memphis. We get together a couple times a week and its a great support system while all of our husbands are at school or work. Its starting to cool down a little bit here in Memphis and I am pulling out our long pants and sweaters. There is pumpkin spice in the air at our house:), and we are gearing up for all the fun holidays to come. Elle is going to be a cute little clown for Halloween this year and she asks to put her costume on almost daily now. She is going to be fun this year. Love that girl. Here are a few more recent pics of Elle. The last one if with her uncle Justin. He took the kids of that little motorcycle and they just LOVED it.

4 Years ago today...

Me and James were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. Happy Anniversary James. Through good times and bad we've made it through the first 4 years of marriage and I am glad you are by my side. I love you!
